I met with Whitney last week and met her adorable 3mo Tinsley. She was exhausted. I was excited. It was my first in person consultation and just getting to meet tiny Tinsley would've made it worth it had it not gone AMAZINGLY. I asked Whitney if she would answer a few questions so I could make a record of our meeting and the followup support I offered her. Here is what she had to say:
First please tell me a little bit about your baby:
Tinsley was born in November and 3 weeks early at that. She had been really fussy in the early weeks and considered “high maintenance”. She is now super happy and laughs and loves to look at lights and bathtime is her favorite!
Please describe your sleep situation before you reached out to me:
Before contacting Andrea Tinsley wasn’t a sleeper, especially the first 8 weeks. By that I mean she MIGHT sleep 4 hours in a 24 hour period. She was always crying and just didn’t want to be put down. She loves to be moving so my husband and I used to walk her around and up and down the stairs until she was calm down and fall asleep.
Describe your sleep situation today:
Now Tinsley takes multiple naps throughout the day. I have been using the method you taught me for about a week and a half now and have such great improvement with it! Not only because she is able to nap during the day (sometimes for 2 hours at a time) but she is also sleeping through the night.
What was the biggest challenge in sleep training?
The biggest challenge in sleep training is hearing my baby cry as well as having consistency. Life happens and I can’t be home all day or sometimes we have evening plans where I can’t put her down in her crib for a nap.
Would you recommend me to your friends? Why?
I would recommended Andrea she is super nice and knowledgeable!!! She lets you choose your parenting style and supports you with great information based on that and your baby!
